“Because I’m tall – I’m almost 6ft – when I come to a cottage a lot of the time, I can feel a bit hemmed in and a bit claustrophobic, but I don’t here. I just want to put on some socks and pyjamas and not move for a week – it sort of just envelopes you in a big hug. It’s exactly what you want when you come to the Cotswolds, a traditional honey-stoned cottage.”

“We loved our stay at Boundary Cottage! We were very lucky to be here during a beautifully snowy period, and that made the views even more stunning. Karen was a fantastic host, even coming to check that we were warm enough when it dropped below 0°C. The cosy fire meant we were really toasty and comfortable. We also had a beautifully decorated Christmas tree! Such a lovely, homely touch. The cottage was also really well stocked, with gorgeous bathroom products and some lovely kitchen amenities. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, we hope to be back one day.”
“We arrived about 6pm on a Friday after a long journey, the welcome of your lovely cottage was the fix we needed. Amazing place with fantastic views. We can see you have put a lot of effort into the detail, my wife was telling me about all the brands you have! (Yawn, that’s when I fell asleep : )). The place was really cosy and warm, and our kids loved the place along with our little dog, Hobbes. We did get time to visit Woodstock along with a couple of other places. It was a great time of year to take in all the magic of Christmas. Our stay was perfect and want to thank you for your efforts.”

We would definitely return to Boundary Cottage if we were even able to come back to the Cotswolds. The natural beauty of rolling hills combined with the fall colours is memorable. “The photos don’t do the view justice! We visited in autumn and the fall colours along the hillside were stunning. Karen was one of the best hosts we’ve had. She provided clear communication, was flexible when we asked to change dates, and went above and beyond to help us celebrate my husband’s birthday with a cake, hand-written card, ice-cream, fresh milk and eggs, and apple juice (all from local farms and vendors)! It was really special, and we had a lovely time curled up with our dog by the fireplace. We could not recommend this place enough and can’t wait to come back!”
“A magical spot in the Cotswolds. A beautiful property that exceeded expectations. Every detail, from walking guides and maps, to clear instructions about logistics were beautifully and clearly presented. Every furnishing and accessory, from the kitchen to the bedrooms and bath were of the highest quality, and Karen is one of the most gracious and hospitable hosts I’ve met. A return visit is definitely in our plans.”
“The cottage is one of the nicest situated places I have ever stayed. The views are lovely, the area quiet and the cottage itself has been beautifully renovated with a sizeable garden for guest use. The generous extra touches provided by the owners make for a very welcoming destination. There are a number of scenic walks from the house itself down into Broadway, or Chipping Campden, which mean it’s possible to leave the car behind and the local cycling is excellent. Very much recommended.”
“Beautiful cottage and view. The cottage was exactly as described! It was incredibly comfortable and well appointed. Everything you needed in the kitchen was there. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the view unbeatable. We stayed with a family of 4 for a week and could not have had a more perfect place to explore the Cotswolds. The outdoor space was a great place to enjoy a drink and the view in the evening and let the children run around in the yard. Thank you, Karen, for a wonderful stay!”
“Everything that was promised. Great interaction with owner/manager. Pictures typically are not as good as reality, but here the reality was even better than the beautiful pictures. Biggest mistake was only booking three days. 5-star quality at a great price. We will be back!”

“Fantastic Cottage! We stayed for a week at Boundary Cottage. It’s the perfect location for visiting many of the attractions and locations in the Cotswolds. The cottage itself is beautiful, it’s well furnished and stocked with everything you need for a self-catering holiday. In terms of cleanliness, the cottage was immaculate, and we couldn’t have asked for more. The garden across the lane provided a lovely space to look over the stunning views and enjoy a few drinks in the evening. Karen our host was great too, responding quickly to any questions we had and kept us updated on when the cottage was ready for our arrival.”
“Boundary Cottage is perfect for visiting surrounding locations and for a most relaxing retreat. THE most breath-taking views, with just sheep and if you’re there at the right time, lambs, as neighbours. Immaculately clean, very well equipped, most comfortable beds and all those little extras that make it homely. You can really experience country life at its best.
We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to re visit. Thank you, Karen, for being a great host.”
“Karen is just fantastic. Without even meeting her, she made my husband and I feel at home. The attention to detail is just superb, it’s everything you could ever ask for. She has multiple detailed folders that range from landmarks, shops, restaurants, walks, villages ect – everything you can think off, Karen has a recommendation. The cottage itself is something from a movie, my husband and I were so relaxed and chilled the whole time. The views are indescribable, so get yourself down there! We only ate out once for dinner as we loved eating a home cooked meal in the hilled garden, overlooking what felt like the whole of England.”
“My family had a wonderful stay at Boundary Cottage with such beautiful views. Karen is a fantastic host and provided plenty of information about the local area and places to visit. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. She had kindly provided bowls, blankets and towels for our dog. There were plenty of amenities such as toiletries, tea and coffee. Karen had also provided some milk and ice cream from a local farm – so nice that we paid a visit to buy some more on our way home! We would definitely recommend staying here and we hope to come back in the future!”
“Boundary Cottage was beautifully kitted out with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. It was lovely and clean also. The highlight for us was watching the local farmer and his sheepdog rounding up the sheep right outside the window.”
