Covid-19, cleaning and your commitment to us
Covid Preparations at Boundary Cottage
We take our guest and staff safety extremely seriously. We have undertaken a thorough risk assessment at Boundary Cottage following the cleaning protocols provided by The Professional Association of Self-Caterers (PASC UK) and linked to on the gov.uk website. These can be seen here: https://www.pascuk.co.uk/standards
We will continue to monitor the cleaning guidelines and will make changes as required.
If you have any questions on the cleaning regime prior to your stay please call or text on 07967 208981.
New Covid-19 guidance
All COVID-19 restrictions in England have now ended. This means that:
• It is no longer a legal requirement to self-isolate if you test positive for COVID-19. However, it’s advised that you stay at home and avoid contact with others (particularly those in vulnerable groups) for at least five full days and until you test negative.
• It is no longer a legal requirement to wear a face-covering in any setting. However, it is encouraged that you continue to wear one in crowded, indoor spaces, on public transport and where you may come into contact with people you do not know.
• You no longer need to show an NHS COVID Pass at venues and events by law, though some businesses and venues may continue to ask for proof of a negative test or vaccination status. If so, they should tell you what you’ll need to show in order to access the venue before you visit.
Head to the GOV.UK website for more information on current COVID guidance.
Please inform myself. If you are well enough to travel you should return home and self-isolate in accordance with current Government guidance.
If you are unwell and cannot return home, you will be expected to pay all costs for extending your stay. We recommend you take out travel insurance.
